Any fan accumulating the maximum points on every play during any of YCF’s four play-calling competitions will win $1 million; Competitions begin February 25.

After a successful inaugural three-game series last May, Your Call Football is raising the bar for its second year. The league, which allows fans to call plays through a mobile app, will play a second series of games starting next month and is extending its business model with licensing opportunities for its patented live play-calling technology both in the sports and entertainment space.

With Merril Hoge and Solomon Wilcots serving as head coaches, Your Call Football will be played on four consecutive Monday nights beginning Feb. 25 in Jacksonville, Fla.

My own attention, however, is on Your Call Football. YCF is a football fix in the late spring that fans can turn to with a one-of-a-kind twist: Fans call the plays.

On May 3, Your Call Football debuted its play calling app for the first time in a live game. Two teams named Power and Grit, composed of former players from heavyweight programs like Alabama, Notre Dame, and USC, squared off against each other at Historic Dodgertown, a multi-sport facility in Vero Beach, Florida.
